YESTERDAY
I spent a couple hours watching Bonanza while watching my nephew ran around my sister’s apartment playing with his cars and trucks; he can’t get enough of those things. I love that kid. My favorite part was when the intro played and he stopped, excitement filled his face, and he said “Ooo horses and cowboys! Like PawPaw!”
“You can take the boy out of the country but you can’t take the country out of the boy,” pretty much sums up my dad.
It reminded me of when I was little running around playing while my dad watch Bonanza and his other westerns, or I’d sit on the couch right next to him and watch til I fell asleep. Those were some of the best days of my childhood.
